Do you want to gain experience in how accountants work on a daily basis?Are you looking for an internship where youimmediatelycontribute to client tasks and learn from your team?
During the internship at Pw C, you will be part of our Assurance Team and contribute to real client assignments. You will discover how year-end audits are performed, use data and Excel in practice, and learn from colleagues who actively coach you. You will work in a hybrid setting: at the client's location, at the office, and from home.
You will work in an open, friendly, and informal teamwhereyouwillquicklyfeelat home. Askingquestions is encouragedand givingandreceiving feedback happens every day.
Whatyouwilldo:
Togetherwithyoursupervisor,youwillparticipatein clientassignmentsandworkwiththe audit teambothat the officeandat theclient'ssite. Youwilllearnthe basics of (financial) auditwork,developyourprofessionalskillsandmeetotherinternsduringteamoutings, drinks,andsocialevents. Youwillbegivenresponsibilityappropriatetoyourlevelandyouwillbeguidedin yourworkbyacoach. Additionally,youwill:
Prepare and perform simple checks and analyses in Excel;
Documentfindingsandcontributetofileorganization;
Supportplanning,coordination, and team meetings;
Contributetoprocessimprovementsandthe smartuseof data.
Whatwe arelookingfor:
You are proactive, eager to learn, and ask many questions to grow quickly. You enjoy working together andcommunicateclearly. Furthermore, youmeet thefollowing requirements:
Knowledge of Microsoftapplications,especially Excel;
Basic accountingknowledge;
Analyticalskills;
Fluent Dutch and Englishskills,both spoken and written;
Youareenrolledin an HBO/WOdegreeprogram in: Accounting, Business Economics, Economics& Business Economicsor any other related studies;
You are available from September, November, or February.
