What Your Role Will Look Like
Genetec is seeking an Account Executive responsible for driving growth across the Netherlands territory through proactive end‑user engagement and close collaboration with our channel ecosystem.

This role focuses on creating demand directly with enterprise and public‑sector end users, influencing project specifications early, and supporting partners and system integrators through successful delivery and expansion opportunities.

The Account Executive owns the territory strategy, builds strategic customer relationships, and drives complex solution sales aligned with Genetec's unified security platform.

Key Responsibilities
Territory Ownership & Strategy

Develop and execute a clear territory plan aligned with regional priorities and growth targets

Identify strategic verticals and key accounts within the Netherlands market

Build long‑term account plans focused on pipeline generation, account expansion, and customer retention

Maintain strong visibility into project pipelines and market opportunities

End‑User Development

Engage directly with enterprise and public‑sector end users to understand operational and security challenges

Create demand by positioning Genetec solutions at early project stages

Build relationships with decision‑makers including security leaders, IT stakeholders, operations leaders, and procurement teams

Influence project requirements and technical specifications in collaboration with pre‑sales teams

Support customers throughout evaluation, proof‑of‑concept, and purchasing processes

Channel Collaboration

Work alongside system integrators, consultants, and technology partners to deliver successful customer outcomes

Maintain strong partner alignment while preserving end‑user ownership of opportunities

Enable partners through joint account planning, opportunity qualification, and coordinated execution

Balance end‑user engagement with channel‑driven delivery models

Sales Execution & Forecasting

Manage full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract close

Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM

Achieve revenue targets and contribute to regional growth objectives

Provide market feedback and competitive insights to leadership and product teams

About You

Required Experience

Proven success in enterprise or complex B2 B solution sales

Experience selling software platforms, enterprise technology, or physical security solutions

Strong track record of direct end‑user engagement and consultative selling

Experience working within a channel‑driven or partner‑based sales model

Ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder sales environments and long buying cycles

Fluency in Dutch and English

Preferred Background
Experience with video management systems (VMS), access control, or unified security platforms.

Familiarity with enterprise verticals such as transportation, smart cities, critical infrastructure, government, healthcare, or retail.

Understanding of IP networking, cybersecurity principles, or enterprise IT environments.
